How We Review
Every review on Beauty Fix Files follows the same steps, whether it's a hair supplement, a serum or a set of drops. Here's exactly what we do, so you can judge our work for yourself.
1. We start with your questions
Before writing, we look at what women actually search for on Google and Bing about a product: "does it work", "reviews and complaints", "price", "how to cancel". Each review answers those questions directly, starting with the one most people ask first.
2. We check the facts at the source
- Prices and packs are read on the official order page or checkout, and we write the date we checked.
- Ingredients come from the official label or the brand's own site, not from ads or reseller listings.
- Guarantees and subscriptions are read in the brand's terms, including the conditions: how many days, what you need to do, and how cancelling works.
- Studies are cited only after we've read them, and we say when a study tested one ingredient on its own rather than the product.
3. We're honest about what we know
- We don't claim to have used a product we haven't used.
- Results a brand reports are attributed to the brand ("the company says..."), never presented as our promise.
- We never promise that a product will cure, treat or prevent a disease.
- When customer reviews are mixed, we say so, and we tell you where the complaints come from.
4. We send you to the official seller
Many beauty products are also listed by resellers on marketplaces. Those listings are often not covered by the brand's guarantee. We only link to the official seller, where the guarantee and customer support apply.
5. We keep reviews current
When a price, guarantee or formula changes, we update the review and its date. We don't change the date just to look fresh.
6. We fix mistakes
If you spot an error, tell us. We check it and correct the page.
